- Only exsiting privately-owned buildings which were built before 1990 can apply for this Fund.
- The Fund does not apply to private landed residential buildings and buildings undergoing major additions and alterations
- For private residential building, only upgrading works of commercial buildings with accessiblity features are eligible for the fund
- Government funded buildings can not apply for this Fund.
- Appliants need to comply with specified requirement where regulatory approvals are required
- Only costs of construction works for basic accessibility features are covered by the Fund
- Only one fund is awarded for each buiding
